A few months ago i was checking random stuff on Youtube when suddenly i ended up watching videos on a channel called Simon and Martina (eatyourkimchi). "Who are these two people? Is this guy a weirdo? This girl is damn so cute!" That was my thoughts on them when i first watched their video about living in Korea.

Eat Your Kimchi is a Youtube channel by Simon and Martina, two random cute aliens couple from Canada living in Korea. They're married, and have two pets (cat named DR MEEMERSWORTH and a dog named SPUDGY) and also living their life to the fullest.

Even tho at first i found Simon was so weird because of his hair (I'M SORRY SIMON), i eventually loving them more than i could bare #kewl. Martina is so cute, so colorfull, real, passionate and so does Simon. If i believe in the "Couple Goals" term, i would say that they're my goal.
Martina is the happiest person on earth. I can't say that without proof, and my proof is almost every video they've uploaded. With her understandable jokes, bright smile, love towards food and Simon, the sunrise in her eyes (why'd it sounds like i'm fangirling? WELL HECK YEAAH), all of them

Until i watched one video of her telling people about her Chronic Pain. She suffered from EDS or Ehlers-Danlors Syndromes. I don't really know about this syndromes but one thing i understand is that it's so painful, even the happiest person on earth could cry and experienced an unpleaseant feeling from it. This was then one of the reason why they eventually moved to Japan. Martina wants to spend more time living her dream (she really loves Japanese mangas and all kawaii's stuff) to the fullest.
Won't get out of the room, won't eat, cry a lot, not taking a shower for days, feel horrible about myself, insecurity, all the worst things in life. It's not about how ungrateful i am, i do...i'm very grateful to the Almighty God but that day...i just can't believe in anything. Even writing about this was so hard and too painful. The only friend i trust is my husband, and it's sometime hard for both of us. We're currently on our 7th month of marriage, he's not always here with me so that's why it's freakishly hard to find a way to kick this depression out.
Martina then shared a video a few days ago. She was in pain, and she told Simon to shoot her with that condition because she wanted to tell everyone that even the smallest wood can help us Build a Ladder.
It's such an inspiration. The video began with the lowest mood of her until she fought to create such a positive atmosphere so that the part of herself get a lot better within hours. The happy Martina is back and she worked so hard for it :').
Martina, she did taught me that "When life gives you lemon, make some scrumptious desserts out of it!". I told myself whenever my depression started to enter the main door, i will (hopefully) do the exact same things as Martina. Maybe i will even add some more positive activity in it, like baking (i looove baking) a brownie, dancing as my favorite dance song is playing and so.
And Simon, he really really is an awesome husband. Such a lovely human being. They really deserves each other ^^
Thanks a lot Simon and Martina, i hope someday if i meet you both, i would thanking you guys in person and maybe eat a cone of ice cream together ^^. I love you guuuys, i wish you all the love and happiness in this world!! #BUILDALADDER
Ps: i'm sorry if there are so many grammatical errors there ^^
